Controlled Insanity News

XDL was off the hook!!!

I was not at all comfortable on my bike yet but, I went out and rode anyway. I wish I would have had more time to practice but I was very happy to Qualify. Everyone Killed it out there! The talent level is Insane! Watch out for 2008 this season is going to get out of control!!!

My bike wouldn't run good at all during the Finals but I was able to ride it well during Qualifying so I can't complain too much. I finished 9th Place for the 2007 Season on a bike I was not use to riding at all. The bar has been raised for sure. Back to the Practicing!

I finally got to ride the 05 R6. It's not completely ready yet. It still needs a Cage. I still got to go practice a little without a cage but I have to be careful. I like it a lot better than the 07 but it still needs some minor tuning. Keep in touch for more updates later.

With XDL coming up in March and me learning to ride a different bike........I've got a lot of work to do!

Soon I will be trading in the 2007 R6. I found out that because of the electronic throttle, High HP and low torque, the bike is less than ideal for stunting. 2006-2008 R6 models also have different gearing in the transmission that makes gearing them near impossible. They do look great but, I wouldn't stunt one again. The bike to buy is a Yamaha R6s it has way more torque and is a lot more controllable. I will be Rocking a 2005 R6s for 2008. I'm excited to see what the year brings. Stay in touch and I'll keep you posted! So farewell to the 2007 R6!!!!

The weather in Flordia was perfect. Starting the day off at 65 and getting to about 80 in the afternoon.

Tention could be cut with a knife when it came to riders ready to compete durring Qualifying. With over 100 riders, and only room for 12 people to move into the Finals, there was no room for error. Joshua put a Qualifying run together that put him in the 7th place spot. Changing things up a bit Joshua started his run off pretty strong and ended stronger with a Hightower backflip! He was the first person to ever pull it off without wrecking durring a judged Event. Finishing off clean the judges gave him a dissapointing 80 score. He finished out 7th Place over all. He felt the judging wasn't quite as fair as it should have been. But all is well that ends well, and who can complain about a well put together clean run. "Get em next time!"

Back From XDL

Joshua Clem finished 8th Place and will be competing in the Finals in Vegas!!!

Joshua also finished 1st Place in Sickest Trick along with Bill D.

Overall the Event went well, for qualifying all of the Riders had to ride in the 40 degree weather along with the rain! It was cold and wet all weekend.

The Riders adjusted to the wet conditions quickly and set the bar very high for qualifying. Warped Toys gave Joshua a Pilot Sport front tire to help the

Front tire not to slide out on the wet surface.....Thanks!!!
